Yea I agree with the above. Blacks only make up 13 percent of the population of America. We have the most of any race in the country locked into prison due to harsh drug laws on Crack cocaine. But cocaine it self is a lot easier to get away with. (the Expensive version, people in low middle class and poor neighborhoods can not afford) So they put cops in neighborhoods to catch these guys in the past and present.

Those people are stripped of there voting rights so chop that 13% down to about 6-7 and that is who voted. Mc Cain was for the 5% of the rich and cared nothing about the 95% of America.

I think that you would have to be stupid to think that blacks would vote for some one that voted for bush 90% of the time. Why were so many republicans jumping ship supporting Obama. I did not see that on Obama's side happening (oh yea Lieberman but yea he dose not count) this is not about being racist it's about knowing the facts and having common sense. if MCCain did what Obama did and Obama did what MCCain did, I myself would have voted for MCCain but it didn't work like that. I want what is best for my country not vote because of the color of someones skin.

Congratulations Geoff for stating an objective observation and fact. Blacks are much more racist than whites. My proof? Check any election between a black and a white and the attendant percentages. The black voting for black candidates is always astronomically high compared to whites voting for a white. Blacks voted Marion Barry back into office even after he got caught smoking crack while frolicking with a prostitute in predominantly black D.C. A white guy caught doing that would never have seen the light of day again. I mean really! If whites voted in the same percentages for white candidates as blacks do for blacks, a black would never hold office. Need another example of black racism? Can you say O.J.?? Did you see the reaction of the black and white crowds on TV? Cochran said he only needed one black on the jury to avoid conviction. ann and APOACE need to get their heads out of their butts so they can see again. TY!

Black people have been voting for white presidents for years. Is that okay
with you? Were blacks racists when they voted, with no other options,
for the white guys. When white people voted for the white presidents
were they racists? So we have years of white guys and their antics
destroying this country and Americans decides we could not be any worse
off by voting in an intelligent, educated fair man that happens to be black
and YOU decide blacks voted only because he was black. You are pathetic.

I feel the need to spread some insight on why Blacks voted overwhelmingly for Obama. First he has proven that he is not just a black candidate. Based on the election results he is a NATIONAL PRESIDENT-ELECT! And by a landslide, unmatched by anyone in the history of this nation. Most Blacks were convinced he had a real shot only after the Iowa primary. Barack had shown that most Whites were not even close to the ways of the KKK (who are in hiding) or the skinheads who are just innately, dumb. If you could read the numbers at that time you would've noticed that Most Blacks were in the pocket of Hillary Clinton. If you were paying any attention they didn't go for Obama until the SC primaries and specifically after the Clintons allowed a few of their spokes people get nasty and out of hand. You see? Soo.....Swing-and-a-miss pal. Most of us hadn't even heard of Obama so we were just as cautious as the White folk about him. The difference in how we choose to go his way so quickly was first, he showed that he was equally capable. Not qualified, capable. And of course we have no problem historically or now about what color your skin is. That is a problem for many Whites, historically. Once we saw he was for real, had policies as good if not better than the rest, of the heart and not an establishment candidate, we wanted him for office, SIMPLE. As you can see "My Friend", he was and is the best candidate for the job. Ask 52% of your fellow Americans and the rest of the world! You seem to have a serious problem because if you think McCain or Palin was the best pick, you either haven't been watching what's been going on or you are a closet racist who can only talk about your views with your inner circle or hiding on the Internet. Why? Because you know very well "My Friend" that the majority of the country is totally against the 'jim crow' like argument you pose here today and would tell you so. Find some real people who are honest about their feelings and not afraid to come out so they can show you that there is a bigger room outside of the little one you occupy now.
